A Level Exam Success

Students at Kantor King Solomon High School today celebrated outstanding A-Level and AS level results, demonstrating our continual improvement and commitment to excellent academic and pastoral care with an overall pass rate of 97%. The excellent results of recent years continued with 73% of grades being A* - C.

Students in particular excelled in STEM subject with over 40% of students achieving a grade A or A* in Mathematics and Physics resulting in students achieving their aims of taking up places such as Bristol, Manchester, Warwick and University College London.

We would like to congratulate all of our students and a wish them well as they take up their university places, start employment or head off on their gap year. Some of our students overcame some particularly challenging personal circumstances to achieve excellent exam results and this is due to the support which was offered to all students by the school and also down to their own hard work.

One of the key reasons for our success both in absolute and relative terms has been a consistent focus on the interests of the students, developing a broad range of skills and responsibilities.  An excellent pastoral team worked with the students identifying concerns at an early stage and offering constructive guidance which was at the heart of their success.

Matthew Slater, Headteacher said “We are delighted that the hard work and dedication of our students and staff has again lead to such superb results”
