Aims of King Solomon High School

The KSHS graduates will:

·      Fulfil their own individual academic potential through consistently hard work

·      Have a positive and proud sense of Jewish identity built upon a sound knowledge of Jewish practice and observance through participating in outstanding programmes & experiences throughout their time at the school

·      Have an appreciation of the centrality of Israel in Jewish life through visiting Israel and celebrating its importance in Jewish life

·      Be a worthy representative of Judaism in the non Jewish world through being a positive role model inside and outside of school

·      Be able to take their place as healthy, active and tolerant citizens in a multi-cultural society through community volunteering in a range of  settings and through learning about and meeting with people of other religions & cultures

·      Be accepting of those who are different and caring of those in need through raising awareness & funds for charitable causes and through actively helping others

·      Have the flexibility and skills to manage the employment environment in which long term job stability is no longer the norm through learning excellent communication and IT skills as well as through developing flexible independent learning & thinking skills
